BRAs for Belize is seeking support for improving the quality and quantity of bras available to Belizean women!

We collected and donated over 200 bras in 2015 and another 150 in 2016! The bras were donated to the Cornerstone Foundation in San Ignacio, Belize that serves battered women and focuses on HIV/AIDS outreach. We had an excellent 2014 Bra Education Day in Succotz, Belize!

There is a huge need for adequate women’s undergarments in Belize. BRAs for Belize endeavors to collect donations of both new and gently used bras of good quality and all sizes. Donated bras are distributed to women living throughout the country of Belize and particularly in rural areas. We also provide pamphlets and other literature about Proper Bra Fitting and Breast Self-Exams in both English and Spanish. Through these efforts, we hope to contribute to the support of women’s issues in Belize.

All bras will be cleaned before traveling to Belize. We appreciate your consideration in only sending GENTLY used or new bras. THANK YOU!!

DONATING FOR BRA PURCHASES OR PAMPHLETS?

We also accept donations of cash or gift cards for merchants that sell quality bras. We will use cash or gift cards to purchase bras in the US. We are bargain hunters so we can bring as many bras to Belize as possible! We also hope to create Englsih/Spanish brochures on breast self-exams and proper bra fitting. Our efforts are inspired by the life of Ms. Vicky Uck, a dear friend to the founders of BRAs for Belize. We celebrate Vicky’s life and all the goodness she spread through our mission to support the great women of Belize. We hope to expand our efforts to other issues affecting women in Belize as a legacy for Vicky and how much she meant to us.
